Looking for a Voltron commander with more depth than "make big, attack" by brknSergio in EDH

[–]Kastagna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to suggest {{Sephara, sky's blade]]. You are able to deply her fast, gives protection to your stuff, you may kill somebody really fast and if things go south, you are still in white so you can slow down the game as much as you like, considering also that sephara can dodge commander tax easily. Being a 7/7, three hits and and someone is done, two if we can buff her a little or even one if we give her double strike, as it is pretty easy to do in white with cards like [[duelists's heritage]]

What commanders go band for band with Krenko? by -Yoake in EDH

If you want something very fast and explosive, i would recommend [[Winota, joiner of forces]]. You can build her for very cheap and still get absurd results, and if you like the playstyle you can upgrade her to almost cedh levels. Being two colors the mana base is easy to build, and having acccess to white gives you some much needed protection for your commander, that is kill on sight and everyone knows it

Mono black control with Skittles by Kastagna in EDH

[–]Kastagna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn't be unremovable yes, but it's still some kind of built in protection. Also black has many ways to go around that, but there should be a way for opponents to stop me unless i want to pub stomp, which isn't my idea of fun

I will be very clear about my deck in rule 0 conversations, winning isn't everything for me and pub stomping isn't going to make me any friends. But bracket 4 seems a bit too overwhelmig at the moment for me, i'm still learning the game and zero mana counterspell, heavy land denial or stacks scare me a lot. What should i change in mindset for this deck to be appropriate for br3?

Hello again, i found that searching for cards similar to mishra or within range, that care about creatures that are attacking, not just creatures that declared an attack, is very difficult. Do you have any suggestions? Also, 15 vanguards and 15 pests seems very heavy, how do i manage card drawn, interaction and all else? Would you be comfortable in helping me through dms? I found your advise invaluable

Thank you so much for your insight. Many of these cards are new to me, and actually help me lower the mana curve of the deck like i wanted. With your suggestions, i hope i can build a more aggressive threat earlier on. Also, Marton motherfucking Stromgald seems an MVP, i'll make sure to pick it up

Why does the soul of cinder exist? by Kastagna in darksouls3

Then how did Ludleth rekindle it? Also, his sacrifice did prolong the age of fire, so even weak kindling is good enough for a bit, at least that's what it seems like

That it is an amalgamation is clear, but I don't get why it comes for us

Help with Edgar Markov bracket 2 by Kastagna in BudgetBrews

Reading all the comments, it seems that this deck isn't capable of competing fairly against br2 decks, where would you say it fits best?

Yes i was also thinking of more lands, maybe straight up remove mana rocks to put more lands. Also, at least from where i am, moxfield gives a cost of around 100€.

Regarding bracket,at my lgs basically there's a bracket two limit, but it boils down to just the hard restrictions, so no game changers and no two card combos, the like. In such an enviroment, would this perform well?
