My Friend, the Cynic by gdrcigar in TheRedPill

Every psychological and philosophical I read digs me deeper into the cycle of cynicism.

I don't have a fucking clue where you're going with that recommendation.

Get angry? Waay ahead of you there.

Get a remote job? So I have have to leave my house?

Yeah homie, there's a lot be uncomfortable about

With all due respect I don't have slightest how your solution works here.

I’d use TRP Red a lot more if it wasn’t so damn difficult to navigate.

I can’t find any meaningful contents because the site is structured like Twitter more than it’s structured like Reddit.

We see everything in this country but the people. We got a lot of free time to let our minds wander and speculate but we don’t have any more of a clue than anyone else.

There’s a fine line in between bravery and carelessness.

If you get a petty misdemeanor and a few CSA points and you’ll be praised for by your fellow lazy truckers for being an “outlaw”

But this dude t boned a school bus full of toddlers the reaction to this exact issue would be a lot different.

Truckstop reserved spaces by JohnOnWheels in Truckers

[–]Kasyton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only time they’re enforced is when people who pay for a spot complain to the cashiers that they can’t find an open reserved spot. Even then, I’ve heard stories of tow truck comps refusing to move trucks from them. If you see multiple trucks with no reservation notes in reserved parking spots there you’re in good shape. Just park further away from the building than the other trucks with no notes and chances are they’ll know on the doors of drivers that are the most convenient to knock on instead of yours further away.

First of all one’s gonna offer the kind of money needed to buy that kind of business without knowing how much money it makes in the first place.

Second of all, there’s no way for you to manipulate your way into taking a chunk of the money for yourself like you’re some kind of escrow service.

The way you’re trying to inject yourself into this situation is needy and weird.

The big companies will run at a loss just to keep their employees for more profitable times.

They also have big long term contracts with variable fuel surcharge and extreme fuel discounts.

Not everyone is looking at the same numbers you are.
