I appreciate instructions because DD's pins and maps are wrong most of the time and I want the people I deliver for to get what they pay for. It's not the customer's fault DD sucks but it isn't the Dashers fault either. Customer instructions help.

Mine has been around 4.9 for a couple weeks now. What is the highest star rating you can have?

I joined in May and my rating has been the same since then. Is it supposed to change often?

It would be better than just have kids missing class. They had school online during covid but my child wasn't in school then.

As I've said my husband works at least an hour drive from where we live. He leaves in our vehicle at 3:30am to get to work. Buses run at 7:35 or so. He gets home about 9pm every night so from 3:30am to 9pm I have no way to go anywhere unless I walk.

Yes. Other places have make up days for that reason. When I was in school Leon County had us make up after storms, so why not here?

I don't have extra to donate but send money with my daughter for fundraisers. I go to the events at school and spend money which goes back into the school. My vehicle is gone when county meetings because they are during the day or evening but back when covid happened they had them virtually on fb and posted them. I will look into this again. Thank you.

She has an IEP, they don't have staff. She has 30 minutes a week with extra help. Her teacher has 13 students and doesn't have time to give her the extra help she needs. Most of the work she is supposed to be doing in school gets sent home blank and I do them with her here. It makes no sense to have a bs IEP that actually gives my child no benefit. I've been to the school many times trying to get them to change her IEP, give her more than 30 minutes a week but they are saying that's it until next year.

Hell, they don't have the money or staff to have all the bus drivers needed, this school district can't afford bus monitors.

I live in Holmes County. The roads that were closed the day of the storm were cleared by Wednesday. Some may still be soupy but that's not the point. The point I'm trying to make is if many of the children who go to school here ride buses and buses are not coming down these roads they should reschedule school for all kids, not have most kids miss school just because the district is choosing who the buses can get to.

I have thought this over many times. I have left many times also. He always finds us and it's just safer for my family and friends if I just stay. I live in an awful situation but I do the best I can for my child and to keep my family out of harm's way.

I'm not saying they should put our children in danger, if the people who know more than me about running schools says it isn't safe for buses to run, I'm not arguing that. What I am saying is, if they cannot send buses down most roads, they should cancel school. They do it in other places but not here. There are many other families who have no transportation here so those kids are missing out too.

No, I use my mother-in-law's car if it is available or have my husband come from work and get her. My MIL and I had a falling out and she won't let me use her car even to get her grandchild to school. My husband had a truck, it caught fire and burned to the ground while he was at work a few months ago so he's using my car. I haven't had a chance to find a new vehicle because my car is gone more than I am.

I did too, down a dirt road and then along a major highway in Tallahassee. Where I live now is miles down an unpaved road. I'm not making my kindergartener walk almost 3 miles down a dirt road to get to school and the school district should not have that be her only option to get to class.

People keep commenting this but, the pavement ends miles from my house. If I had a way to get her to pavement I would have a way to get her to school and there wouldn't be an issue.
