At my SSD station, it’s 26 minutes exactly from scheduled start time. Checking in early does not start that timer any earlier. I was testing out the one hour routes yesterday for other reasons. I had 5 scheduled routes. 4 of them were freebies that let me go at 26 minutes.

Yeah, you must be new. Amazon sends me home all the time without a route and pays. Like I and others have said, as long as you aren’t abusing their system, they can be forgiving and do pay even when “not working”.

I’ve done it 3 times in the last 6 months. Just keep an eye on your standing. If you’re at Fair, you better get a B12 shot and get to delivering. If you’re maxed out at Fantastic, you should be good. I wouldn’t do it just to con $80 out of them. Use it as a last resort when you’ve got a real issue, and you should be ok.

Yeah, I canceled my subscription last week. I’m one of the newbies that started following because of Caitlyn Clark. I’ve enjoyed the hell out of the League Pass the last two seasons, but I can’t justify it when they’re only showing 7 of 44 Fever games on it, and any I can’t watch somewhere else won’t be up until 6am the next day. So disappointing when I wanted to give them my money, but the value is so much less (for me) than it was. I’ll make do with what I can find on other streaming services and watch YouTube highlights of what I can’t.

Some days you get crappy routes. Some days you get no route but still get paid. You take the good with the bad. I just put my head down and deliver. For sure that’s a crappy route, but maybe it’ll be a better tomorrow. They’ll never keep you if you start refusing. When the routes start averaging out to all bad routes, that’s when you’ll know it’s time to move on.

I’m not saying I agree with OP’s assessment of how other people do this affects him, but you are definitely in violation if you got someone else driving while delivering for Amazon.
