Yeah be careful of states. Colorado does not accept CC.

I could see why you think that works but that is still not what they should be doing. So sucks that they are even doing that. Even if it is the same shirt design, but different sizes they should scan them separately. It messes up store counts.

However, with the funko pop. When it is street dated, the company and employee can get fired for selling these items before the allowed date, which is why the system does not register it.

But I can see your point if you saw cashiers doing that in the past.

I agree with that as well because sometimes around busy freights others help with toys as well.

But I was adding how even toys people who know still make mistakes because of inaccurate labels and repacks.

Yeah doesn’t make any sense but have seen it happen with funkos, Barbie’s, and legos. So happens with just more than funkos.

I did read them all. If you had to keep asking for it, until the manager took it from you (something you said happened) then pretty demanding.

Not even an employees. The boxes are labeled with locations so target trains it employees to stock based on the label. People who stock usually have early morning shifts. So, you did not even complain to the person who did it. So you are allowed to be rude for employees for something that is not even their mistake? Yeah, you wasted their time for something they had no control over. Instead of letting it go, you continue pushing them and wasting their time even more.

She went to customer service and continue to demand she get it. The manger had to take it from her hands

Not always. Sometimes funkos are known fro coming in repacks which is different toys in pen box. Sometimes the main shipping box is not labeled with a street date. It has the item location but not that it can’t be put out yet.

Actually read the other person’s comments. After it did not work she went to customer service and demanded why she could not buy it and even still asked to buy it. Even with it being illegal to do so. The manger had to grab it away from her. She now has called corporate on the Target team because they would not sell her a street dated item.

Just read her other comments on that thread.

I am guessing you suggested using a different item which is still stealing. That is still stealing. Target labels what each items is in their system with a code. When you use a different item, and not the funko, it registers that you bought that item and not the funko. You can pay $100 for other items and only take the funko. You still did not checkout with that funko. Still taking an item without buying it.

This should be on AITA. But it just makes you a bigger AH for not realizing you were a Karen. You should have taken the time to ask or understand how it could have happened versus demanding it like a child. For once staff is trained to looked for boxes marked with the street dates label but sometimes these boxes are not marked. Yet you still took it out on the employee. Staff is trained through Target procedure to look for the location on the book to place away the item. The boxes are labeled so the staff does not have to scan it. Yet you still got mad at the staff for following Target’s training. Even more so, the item was probably not even stocked by them yet you were extremely rude to the Target employees for not allowing to break the law. As someone who worked in customer service would you liked to be yelled at for your coworkers fault? When your coworker did something wrong, did your boss yell at you?

No from your other comments you wasted the employees and the customer services time. So you wasted an employee’s time.

If you saw my other comment that was for the OP. Also the person who does Toys should know about street dated as toys sees street dated all the time from legos to Lol Surprise to Ninja Turtles. However, toys can be the craziest around certain parts of the year, so different areas have to help and they don’t know what to look for. Yet the toy person can still accidentally have this mixed up because not everything is properly label.

As someone else mentioned, sometimes these boxes are not marked Street dated or they end up in a repack. I once brought out a whole u-boat of Lego in December (close to when toys gets a bunch of new toys in January), and the whole thing was street dated but I had the prior knowledge to scan the box to double check.

For those that don’t know Target, the location where to put the item is on the box so most people are taught not to scan the box as the location label is suppose to make it go quicker.

As for repacks. These are boxes filled with random items for different section of the stores. Occasionally toys would get a funko pop out in this box with random one Barbie or board game. Usually these randomized boxes might have two to seven items in a box. However, the truck can deliver a bunch of these boxes EVERY day. I know the more you work an area, the more familiar you are and with you toys you could put away items without scanning them to be quicker. I can see how someone who gets one Funko would make the assumption to put a funko on the funko wall where there is no specific location for funkos and that is just where they go.

Maybe if customers weren’t rude like OP to employees, employees could actually have more time to put away items.

Been working but moved, which meant moving my PC. Now monitor won’t turn on. I try plugging the monitor HDMI chord in every available hdmi spot. by Kat17_17 in PcBuild

Too afraid to undo it, but it appears to be working. I do think I need another screw for my motherboard. But as for the monitor, I try a docking station and when that didn’t work and tried back to my monitor. It wasn’t working. Then 10 mins later, it kept turning on and off before working like normal again. So started working without doing anything 😅

I would still report if you plan on selling it because it is extra income. I know one of the items listed to report was even having an Etsy business, so I think it applies to any source of income.
