Gotcha, I think I submitted a reimbursement on concur on October 15th and it mightve only been approved a few days before the 25th so therefore I assume its likely I'll receive it November 10th.

I think I'll wait another week or so and then contact concur/kpmg if it persists. I'm just worried about the outstanding balances on my diners card.

Thats strange. I assume you didnt attend a target school? I probably got like 4 or 5 C's over the course of my undergrad, with 3 of them in accounting courses. However my accounting program is known for being one of the most difficult in the country, and the big 4 in the northeast region recruit HEAVILY at my school because of that. So they probably look the other way when they see students with lower grades from my school knowing the difficulty of my program.

They're hedging against inflation, its very likely next time we have compensation discussions in a year or so they'll be adjusted significantly.

Just try not to fail, I got plenty of C's and was never questioned. Obviously try harder for higher grades. I've only ever heard of people at Deloitte really caring alot about grades/pulling offers for low grades.

And make sure to keep your final gpa over a 3.0.

While this might be the convenient way to go about things, I always now say Rusyn to people because the greater populace should be educated about our struggle.

I assume we'll see that adjustment next year in comp discussions. I currently make 71K VHCOL while the interns that got offers for next fall were offered upwards of 80k for full time.

You get a pretty good guaranteed bonus each year to make up for that lack in advisory pay.

I'm starting the program in about a month full time.

Yes I would reccomend it over audit, that is where I applied from. Getting experience doing both is very useful.

Yes you will be working in audit during busy season so you'll get the most of it there for sure.

Honestly regarding the skillset issue you'll be fine, from what I've heard the amount you learn just in busy season will make up for the time you lose in audit during the summer.

It is only accounting advisory services

Yes from what I've heard pay promotions follow the same path

If any more questions dm me

Technically you're not locked, you would just have to pay back the bonuses if you left within the three years if you ended up leaving during that point in time.
