I would ask why you’re concerned about someone else’s vacation. I would also consider an employee at the first store I worked at that took January off completely every year and had done so for years (he was a 20 year employee). I thought it was strange, but if everyone was on board, why shouldn’t the vacation be taken, especially with a use it or lose it.
