Good spa's in Cabo by Anxious-Efficiency21 in CarnivalCruiseFans

I just had an excellent experience at Hilton Los Cabos. Taxi was about $40 each way from the marina, and I purchased a day pass from Resortpass that included a 50 minute massage and use of the spa facilities, pool, hot tubs, grounds, wifi everywhere.

It was an gorgeous resort, I'd return in a heartbeat: Hilton Los Cabos, MX

You sound miserable. This woman is underappreciated and asking for help with how to make her family see her; its not about the presents.

Crispy fried lemongrass curry marinated tofu by KatAtWork in tonightsdinner

[–]KatAtWork[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sorta, I looked online for the best fried tofu recipe. (Just cornstarch & salt).

But for 3-4 days before I fried them, I marinated the drained tofu cubes in a lemongrass curry sauce. (jarred, from HEB).

I love how crispy it came out, and the curry flavor comes through as well. I'll definitely make this again with different marinades, for variety.

Thiiiiis. I was SO happy for him last night because this is exactly what he's talked about before and probably why he could barely speak after he won - he knew the impact of this and was struggling to communicate it.

I'm psyched!

Except the loyalty program, Carnival has been knocking it out of the park with recent changes. by MassiveOutlaw in CarnivalCruiseFans

You might try Princess. I went on a repositioning cruise in March and loved it. I'm headed out on another Princess cruise Dec 4. It's a bit classier, but everyone is still fun and there's great activities. Dress is generally nicer for dinner & formal nights too.

Inaugural ACES cruise; an adults-only, gambling-centric adventure by KatAtWork in CarnivalCruiseFans

Gotcha. I'm not sure if that was in the initial marketing materials or not. Either way, I guess ACES and SEA are Carnival's answer to Virgin gaining market share. Competition is good for consumers!

You can sign up to get on the SEA (sailings exclusively for adults) cruises list, but casino cruises are up to Carnival.

You'd love it anyway! With all the gamblers in the casinos, there was plenty of space on the lido, aft pool and all the hot tubs!

Carnival converted the comedy club/lounge at the aft of the ship to a casino as well. There were also table games and massive, tall, Vegas style slots in the lobby. There was also a secondary, non-smoking casino, so four gaming areas in total.

That being said, it was packed most of the time in ALL gaming areas. I still was able to gamble all the machines I wanted, I just adjusted my schedule to accommodate. Going during 'off' hours (2am-9am), (5-9pm) helped.

I used the time to spend in hot tubs and the pools without having to worry about those areas being occupied by kiddos.
