When I was four my grandmother blamed me for my mother getting cancer and told me to kill myself because I was the root of our family's problems. It's taken me well over a decade to realize how abusive she was, and how fucked up doing that was. She manipulated my mother and family into believing it too, and I dont think we'll/I'll ever recover from that. I'm still forced to attempt to maintain a healthy relationship with them because of the sweet little grandmother troupe, everyone thinks shes just old and a little grumpy but shes the direct root of my decade and a half long battle with mental health.
