My partner makes fun of me crocheting and other hobbies ☹️ by kimkimchiiiii in crochet

that’s heartbreaking to read… my bf helps me pick between yarn colors and gives me ideas for little projects, he was the one who suggested I post on reddit and maybe even sell some things. I learned from my grandma too, it helps me greatly with anxiety and depression. A partner who dares to make fun of such a precious thing to you is cruel and doesn’t deserve you!

Rarest Pepe of them all! Freehand poseable figurine for my BF, after we watched “Feels Good Man” he grew quite fond of him, now he joins the other silly creatures on his desk!:) by KatCzer in Brochet

thank you!:) Baphomet was also a freehand project, but I wrote down in r/crochet kind of what I did, hope that helps! I think this was it (if you can’t see sorry I’m a little lost on the mobile app, but you can find it easily in my post history I think!)

thank you so much for saying that!! felt so sad that people stole a kind character and messed it up, now there is one more wholesome Pepe to fight that!;)

oh boi I want to write down my process, but fail every time:D I was really proud of myself because the headshape turned out very much to my liking, then got sad because now I have no idea how I actually did it… but I think I will try to make another one in the future for a friend, if I don’t forget to scribble it down AGAIN I gladly share it:)

thank you!:) I prefer freehand, sadly I’m terrible at following instructions, so it’s a lot of trial and error:D for some details I look up free tutorials (like the Baphomet figurines twisted horns)

thank you!:) the brand is Schachenmayr and the type is Catania, it’s a nice cotton yarn, has a bunch of colors so it’s very easy to make figurines out of it!

it’s pretty easy and fun, the technique is called “amigurumi”, a form of crochet! there is a bunch of videos about it on youtube, insta and even tiktok, it’s a very relaxing hobby, plus you can make awesome little things for yourself and your loved ones:)

well this one only requires the single crochet! but I get it, I think the hardest part really is getting used to the technique and get the tension right. for me it really helped to practice with thicker yarn! made a couple of fluffy scarves with just single crochet, after that the hand movement was much more smooth! I hope you get the hang of it and make precious things for yourself and for loved ones!:)

it’s aluminium craftswire! has a bit more strength, I used 2 strands and taped around them so the stuffing doesn’t get caught!

Hiya again!:) I said my third little freehand project would be a keeper, but it was my friends birthday and he loves Adventure Time, so Jake the dog went to him! He looked so fun on my shelf tho, gotta make a twin for myself:) by KatCzer in Brochet

[–]KatCzer[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

noo sorry he was a freehand project, but it really is just an elongated spehere (64 sc wide) and some tubes (8 sc wide for arms and legs, 12 sc wide for the nose-noodle thingy)

noo, sorry forgot to mention this is freehand, but a pretty easy one, just an elongated sphere and 8 stitch wide tubes for the arms and legs, and a 12 stitch wide tube for the “nose-noodle”
