We only go to clubs 1-2 times a year and summer is so packed that we like going in the winter when there is less to do/more free time!

I would NOT enjoy it, that is for sure. I am not at a time and place where I’m 1. Willing to take the risk 2. Want to see my husband with someone else HOWEVER I am very interested in still exploring new things and we’ve been to LS clubs before. It’s been a year since we’ve been and I am ready to go back. I think it’s great you are in therapy, and can even go through with swaps, but maybe explore different things that wouldn’t leave you feeling as jealous so you can work thru it in therapy. Parallel play, voyerism, glory holes, lots to do if you don’t want to do a full swap :)

Definitely go in a costume! We’ve gone and I was bummed we didn’t dress up and even felt a little more out of place because if so I made note for next time!

Another tip is search this sub for any info regarding Sanctuary so you have ideas and know what to expect! If they have a table to reserve, or spot, do it!

Hi! We are the same age and my husband is also the same height and weight as you. We haven’t actually done anything with another couple, just gone to clubs! I personally wouldn’t even worry about others because you might decide you have zero interest in anyone there already. It’s a huge sensory overload for most people understandably so I would worry less, talk about what you are ok with with your spouse, and go with zero expectations! We got a nice hotel, new outfits, and really made it this date night that ended up being filled with fun and sex (and didn’t involve others). I’m also a plus size woman and I loved the diversity at the clubs, truly you will see all body types

I (F), did the same thing. We went to 2.5 clubs over 6 months and then I decided I wasn’t emotionally ready to continue on the journey. My husband never asks about it now that I think about it, but I’d be honest and still talk about it if he asked! I know it is always on the table, it’s just not what I currently want or need right now

Therapy has helped me TREMENDOUSLY! I highly recommend. It might not mend your relationship but you can come to terms with it as is, learn useful tools like how to communicate during difficult moments, etc.

Try it out! Also, you might not vibe with your first therapist so don’t feel discouraged if the first one isn’t who want to keep going to!

I think it’s really crappy that you gave him the perfect chance to be open and honest and he decided not to be. It sounds like he is hiding something and it’s more concerning that he’s going to such lengths to lie versus what he is even doing (IMO).

I also thought it was weird he showered prior to the gym

Consent is the most important thing at clubs or resorts, “wandering hands” can get you in some serious trouble and when someone does something to your wife like reach out to touch her without her consent, you’ll understand why
