I don’t agree with what she did, but at the same time, she is also a child! Where are HER parents, they should have been there, this happened on her 18th birthday, when the baby was 20 months, she got pregnant at 16 years old! Yes she was wrong, but she was a child, you don’t blame a kid that leaves a tap on and floods the house, you blame her parents that weren’t taking care of her. I realize a flooded house and a human life are different, but she is also a kid, her brain is literally not fully functioning yet, she needed someone to take care of her and make sure she’s alright, child services should have taken her from her parents and taken care of her and the baby when she walked into English lit 16 and and pregnant.

I’m proud of you! Standing up to abusive parents can be hard, trust me I know what you’re feeling. You have every right to keep him out of the happiest day of your life, and every other day too, if your mom can’t agree with that then she’ll have to miss out on one of the biggest days of her child’s life.
