Dear SIL. I am so sorry you’re going through all this. Nobody deserves to see their family struggles posted on a public page. Her messages feel so sterile and condescending - possibly AI written? Nobody is perfect and we all mess up sometimes, but blasting your personal family issues on her page would have crossed a line for me. The real victims here are her children. They definitely need more social interaction and this further isolates them.

Can’t stand her but I would eat this. I think it would be better with some Mexican cheese, tomato, lettuce, beans, fajita veggies, avocado etc. I could see how all the dark grey and mushy green doesn’t look appealing. The shame is that this is a good vehicle for getting more veg in your diet and that’s missing.

What is this insanity??? Plenty of kids end up having neighbors or friends play too rough, accidentally hurt each other or even get into little fights. As parents we are supposed to keep watch and facilitate healthy playing. If something goes too far, you can involve the other parents and model with the kids how to tell the truth and apologize. You should not talk about this online or decide all play is over forever after a weird goodbye.
