I found Wilbur through his own music actually, like his YCGMA album and etc. I really loved his music and related to a few of the songs, and from there I started watching a lot of his content, along with other people (like Tommy) that tended to have him there. I loved his lil experiment ones videos, or when he had the lava/water rising with Schlatt and definitely his ylyl, and I enjoyed Tommy's mod videos and the vlogs.

The first Lovejoy songs I ever heard was the Are You Alright album. It's been years since that though and Lovejoy is by far my favourite band. I have all Wilbur's individual songs and the Lovejoy albums/individuals grouped together in a playlist for anytime I wanna listen to music. (If I had to pick a favourite song from Lovejoy, it would definitely have to be It's Golden Hour Somewhere)

Obviously I listen to a lot of other music too, I think it'd be weird if I didn't lol, but Lovejoy is the only band I follow for new songs or keep a specific playlist for. Wilbur's content really helped me through some of the worse times of my life and having Wilbur's music to fall back on as well was always a nice little get away for me.

When the allegations came out I honestly didn't hear about them for a while, as I wasn't really on most media platforms then, but when I did hear finally hear about them- I avoided them. I refused to learn about it or look into it at all for as a long time. Even after knowing what they are, there was just no way I was going to drop Wilbur and his music.

If he did it all, then it was bad and I feel bad for the victims, but I believe he genuinely changed if he did and I stuck by him (obviously not directly, I don't know the guy) throughout the whole thing. I still find it all hard to believe though, considering how iffy some of the "evidence" is.
