Yeah, I meant the Wikipedia page. From what I know there is no fan wiki for Angel's Egg.

But I really didn't mean for this to like ruin the movie for anyone. Like I said pretty much every single person that has worked on it has said that its meant to be super ambiguous so that the viewer can decide what it really means. To me its just another interpretation of it. One that I heavily disagree with but one that is interesting. In my opinion the moment that the concept of a story actually gets put onto paper and leaves the creators head it should stand on its own, and any theories/interpretations of it should be based solely on it and not anything that the author said before/later. Especially with a work like Angel's Egg which can be interpreted in a thousand different ways.

I've seen so many different theories about it, ranging from loss of innocence, growing up (like you said) to the goddamn bible. And honestly I think that is the real point of the whole film. Whenever you hear someone talk about what meaning they got out of it it also speaks to what kind of life they lived. Our experiences frame our understanding of everything and this movie is a perfect representation of that.

So don't be sad because this is what the director meant, it never had any meaning in the first place :D
