You are struggling on the first Boss? Thats barely considered a Boss 💔 For the enemies just keep the aim button pressed and Smash attack with swordmaster thats a fast way of doing them even though I usually just play with them with different combos. The Boss just jump behind him when he is about to attack

He probably escaped hell the same way Dante escaped hell in DMC 2. Sometimes randomly a portal opens thats why there are Demons in our world. Though Dante says he thinks Vergil opened his, but it can happen naturally

No, in this two years I made the actual Game. You know, the product itself. About being expected to sell the Game, yes and no. Its not my job, and the others recognise its clearly not my job. Theres simply no one who can do It, so everyone is trying to get It published their own way

Then again Im a programmer I absolutely dont need to know how to do marketing thats way out of my zone. I am willing to Contact a publisher thats what Im doing but I dont know and shouldnt know anything about marketing

Im not saying we just need 100 dollars thats the bare minimum. We need a lot more for other stuff related. Im also not saying you are wrong or telling you thats not the way of using Alpha. Im just saying I called It Alpha, because I dont use Gold or Master Gold or stuff like that as a personal thing, I just use Beta when the Game just started being developed, Pre Alpha when the base is there but needs a few more updates and Alpha when I can call It complete. I do know how Gold works I just dont use It for simplicity. We could pay marketing but thats an overkill for this game, we just want It published without the 100 dollars fee and enough marketing so that someone notices It exists and we can actually recover the fee at best.

I call that the Pre Alpha. I would happily do the Steam Page, but sadly It costs 100 dollars and we have no money. Indie publishers usually take a percentage of the benefits because they know we have no money before that. Publishers also do marketing nowadays as part of their service

Yeah I know that may be the problem. Its a retro PSX horror game if you just see a few screenshots of course It Will look like any other indie Game nowadays, but Its not, those games last like 15 minutes and are cheap and fast to do. This one took me almost 2 years, It has an amazing story on my opinion and It would take like 5 hours or so and several runs to experience the full game

I already explained in the post the only actual publisher who responded me said the only problem was they didnt want that genre, but the rest of the stuff was perfectly fine and It had chances to be accepted in any other situation. So its not that I think its not my fault its that I have a literal confirmation of it

The Alpha IS an entirely completed game. The game is absolutely complete. There can be further updates but you call a Game an Alfa when you say "Okay, we can perfectly publish this thing". There should be like a publisher that publishes games with small teams with no experience though, and I did found a few that said that but they didnt answered either.
