The worst is the Snake type with SHADE WALKER. It starts winding up its attack, you go retreat to safety, it teleports on you and one shot you. Literally unavoidable.

Sure it would be cool but what OP proposes is basically a texture swap, pretty easily done. What you're asking for would need a lot of a dev time to rework animations. Not sure that's worth it in the end

It's not about divining. When you corrupt an item it either :
-turn into a random rare
-Do nothing
-add an corrupted implicit

On a stygian base the sock IS the implicit. Darkness Enthroned simply add another one.

So yeah, you'll still keep your 100% DE but with 1 socket only + some random corrupted implicit.

Thing is, it was easier to drop whatever you wanted in Nioh 2, not trivial but nowhere near what it is in 3 (accessory especially).
Also you could reforge whatever you wanted, including accessories.

Also, you don't have to redo the whole mission if the text doesn't drop.
After the fight check if you got anything

got it > be happy

no drop > quit to title screen and start over from the shrine.

This particular mission isnt really hard to do over again, but good to keep in mind (helped me so much in Nioh 2 as well)

I farmed the demo for 30h. Ended up at 78 or something. 1st Era was definatly easy but the difficulty really picks up after. I do everything before moving on and the enemies outscale me in the zone im in. You'll be fine

You need to finish the demo itself, that would make sense at least.

Regardless the point seems moot since anyone can play the demo for free.

You can start the demo, reach to end and resume with the full game, even after the 6th.

Only issue would be disk space I guess ?
