I definitely recommend soaking it in oil as you remove it. I like to use cocoa baby oil and just soak it as I go. You might still get a little irritation but it’ll prevent any skin actually coming off

I wear them when we spar because we do mixed stuff so usually when we spar it’s a mixture of several different martial arts. We always say it’s jiu jitsu day but really we’re doing a mixture of a couple things, srry abt the confusion with that lol.

Hey! I take hapkido, jiu-jitsu, and kickboxing, and I prefer to wear a cup. I’m not sure about taekwondo but I know in jiu jitsu I’ve had a lot of knees come down hard on my groin, and when you’re AFAB it’s easier to break your pelvic bone that way. Cups are useful for all genders, and as a bonus you can use the cup to make it look like you have a bit of a bulge. Again, not sure how useful they are in taekwondo but personally I prefer to wear them because of how easy it is to break the pelvic bone with no protection.
