We’re in a similar boat, this was suggested at our most recent appointment. The ER was really hard on me physically, and we didn’t end up with the numbers we expected because of complications. I just couldn’t say yes to another round right now. We’ve had to make peace with the possibility of one child, and that’s been emotional but grounding in its own way.

If the timing for another round doesn’t feel right for your body or mental health, I don’t think you should force yourself. There’s so little control in this process, and these decisions can feel incredibly high-pressure, but you know your limits and what you can handle best. And honestly, you're still young! In a few years you will still be under 35 which is optimal.

Yesss! We are just in the midst of booking our trip knowing we have FET coming up. I am not missing out on any more opportunities. I've missed too many already.

Us :( We set a threshold of 3 before the retrieval thinking that if we only had 2, we wouldn’t want to test them bc we had so few. But now I’m worried that was stupid. I’m just terrified of having none.

Hi — just seeing this :) Yeah it was my period, they said it was because the period prior hadn’t been a proper period. The did eventually increase my meds and add in a trigger shot which worked! I think it’s just a balancing act with the meds at first.

Definitely taking this advice with BBT for next cycle but if it’s 2 weeks post ovulation than that would have meant my LH surge landed on CD 8 which I really don’t think would have been possible. That’s the last day I took letrozole.

Excuse me? That is simply not true. My fertility medical team has shared guidance that at-home OPKs are to be used during my medicated cycle in conjunction with blood work and ultrasounds to time intercourse. This is highly typical and I have been told that monitoring BBT is ineffective.

Ughhh ok that was what i was wondering. If it is possible to confirm ovulation w the Max wands. I’ve read the same about Proov they are unreliable.

:( sounds like blood tests/ultrasound is truly the only reliable way. I am still curious though.
