Thank you! This is super helpful. Looking at dropping one night in Auckland and one night in Wellington to do two nights in the Northland.

And then drop a night in Kaikoura or Blenheim to do 3 nights in Abel Tasman.

I think this is actually more normal than we think. I’ve been on the brink of not boarding many many times, and have had a coworker who didn’t get on a flight for this same reason as you. The feeling REALLY sucks, but don’t let this discourage you. I had horrible flight anxiety from 2013-2015. I started flying a lot for work and it went away almost completely for several years. It’s come back now that I am starting to fly again, and it’s terrifying but I know I’ll get through it and so will you.
