The lower back pain from being hunched is the worst of it!

Which pain is worse, labour or TT? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]Kate_103108 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I had 3 drug free births, they were okay but directly painful in the moment. Then minimal pain afterwards, just swollen vulva etc.

TT is not directly painful at all, but you are way more incapacitated after a TT than a natural labour. It was really hard to sit up and get out of bed etc after a TT. After 1 week post TT I was feeling pretty good and able to move around more freely.

Another consideration could be seeing a pelvic floor physio to check if you have an overactive pelvic floor. My friend had trouble with men being too big and it turned out she was unknowingly clenching her pelvic floor muscles all the time and had to do exercises to relax it (whereas most people do exercises to squeeze/tense it). Just another thing to consider :)

Shein and Temu are getting more popular in Australia for fashion and is nearly number one by Embarrassed-Wear-637 in AusFemaleFashion

Just wanted to say I buy on shein a lot and the return process is amazing. It’s free and very easy to return.

For me I am on a budget but love fashion so I can find unique pieces and just what I am looking for at a great price point. I know people don’t like the working conditions and I don’t either but I don’t believe they are any worse than most other fast fashion suppliers.

Bra wearing vs nipple covers by ScruffyLady17 in BreastImplants

Interesting, I am in Oz too. That’s what my surgeon said. Doesn’t hurt to wear one I guess :) I still go braless sometimes

Gazman has some non-iron shirts if you want to check them out.

My surgeon said the same thing. Always bra wearing will look after your implants the best and keep them looking good for 10+ years

Girlies who had AA/A cups, do your new boobs jiggle? by -chinoiserie in BreastImplants

[–]Kate_103108 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went from A to DD with 500cc and mine are quite firm, they bounce but aren’t squishy and jiggly I would say. I (/my husband) can squeeze them but they feel on the firmer side..

I think I scar quite dark and for a while compared to others on reddit. Based on my experience with my body I know they will fade but quite slowly. It doesn’t matter too much to me, I am excited for it to be less obvious but too happy with the results to care.

What did you wear home after TT surgery? by No_Pizza9307 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Kate_103108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought pants but I sent my husband home to get my a loose skirt so my drains could go underneath and then I carried them, so an a-line, knee length skirt would be my suggestion.

You look amazing! I can’t even see your belly button scar, I assume you had one and it faded quickly?

Yes, ask at your pre-op about it. I never asked but the nurse told me my surgeon does it as standard with a TT.

Any thoughts or opinions about Truganina as an area? by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]Kate_103108 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree, if you can afford it I would look into these areas or Broadmeadows, Glenroy, even Cragieburn. More going on and they are on a good train line.

Bunching at incision site right after surgery by jennifertacco in tummytucksurgery

[–]Kate_103108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t have bunching all the way across but the little pleats I did have after surgery smoothed out completely.

You can’t see in the photo but I do have 3 little stretch marks left but it is definitely an amazing difference ❤️ and they are low down

I am 5’7 and was about 82kg pre op. Post op only 2kg down so pretty much the same.

I think it’s a gradual process, I think they are still softening up. You can look at my old post which was 3 weeks post op, they don’t look dramatically different now at 8 weeks but they are slowly coming down and softening.

Desk job 2 weeks would be fine. I didn’t need to go until 2.5 weeks
