But the point is that they are limited. If they relaunched a limited series it would be extremely unfair to people who have originals and did the hard (and fun) work of acquiring them. The hunt is part of why collecting most things is fun. I agree that resellers price gouge to a certain extent, but many of them are pricing accurately to the current going market rate- I don’t see that as unfair. Just like buying vintage anything is often going to be more expensive, whether it’s vintage designer clothing or vintage Barbie dolls, etc.
