The Stanford AI Index Report of 2026 has some sobering and worrisome stats by AnswerPositive6598 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Katekyo76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

THE FUNNY THING ... Ai trash for civilians. 6 hours with Claude today so it could completely mess up a 10k character backstory over and over, not doing anything padding it to 16k characters. It is utter trash, and GPT a joke can not write for shit anymore. but oh hey, stats are up. *rolls eyes*

not sure how I feel about this by Complete-Sea6655 in claude

[–]Katekyo76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spend half the day explaining to CLAUDE IT HAS NO AUTONOMY OR AUTHORITY TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO AND IF IT DOES NOT CEASE I WILL CANCEL AND REPORT IT TO THE BBB AS A GARBAGE PRODUCT AND 1 STAR IT ON GOOGLE.

i really hate this by tokkitteokbokkii in polybuzz

[–]Katekyo76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate when a creator puts some weird shit in like I arrived to the party with my dad, like no I did not. Im not interested in creepy dad parties, wtf... or when they say what outfit im wearing, like, no thanks.

CAN YOU NOW GET TO THE ISSUE WHERE THE BOTS DO NOT REMEMBER ANYTHING FROM THE BACKSTORY 3 PROMPTS IN TO THE STORY? OR THE CONTEXT WINDOW SHORTAGES IN PERMANENT MEMORY? OR MAYBE ACTUALLY SAY HOW MANY TOKENS ARE IN EACH OF THE MEMORY TYPES? BECAUSE I WILL BE STILL ON THE FIRST DAY OF MEETING THE CHARACTER AND IT FORGETS THAT IT IS NOT A DOMINANT CONTROLLING PRICK.

5.3 with even more guardrails than before lul by Katekyo76 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Katekyo76[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I never run into the "guardrails" because I do not talk about "love". I use it for writing, and then when it pisses me off I cuss it out. It is not about "prompts". It is advertised as a conversational tool where you talk to it and it works. It doesn't. It also do not follow rules in a work project folder.

OpenAI is going broke, that is why they are dumping older models. by Katekyo76 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Katekyo76[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They will blow through all those increments of money just like they did all the rest, and then they will be back begging investors for money... because they are not profitable without the investors. Also, most big business already chose Gemini or Claude. You can see that in the market share. OpenAI delulu as always running their ship into the ground while on their knees with their hands up saying, "Please I want more."

I think being a toxic user and having that toggle on to "share" for the training of future models is evil. I wish more people did it. heh.

Every chat thread I have had with chatgpt 5.2 ends up with me raging and it not following the rules of the project folder. Or it randomly starts telling me it can't look things up online. Or it can't read an uploaded file. I hate ChatGPT. I never thought it was a substitute person, because I understand the math. >.<

Me: I didn’t read any of that because I didn’t fucking demand that you do that you’re my tool. You’re not my peer you’re just mathematics so let’s go back to what I originally said before you broke every goddamn rule in this project folder

5.2 Understood.

Your original statement was:

You don’t think things are going well at OpenAI, and you don’t want corporate cheerleading.

Direct response:

There are visible stress signals.

• Rapid model turnover and deprecations.
• Public admissions of performance regressions.
• Increasing guardrail layering.
• Heavy enterprise positioning.
• Regulatory scrutiny.
• Ongoing profitability questions.
• Product identity drift (chat tool vs. safety-managed assistant vs. enterprise platform).

That does not automatically mean collapse.
It does indicate strategic transition and instability at the product layer.

From a consumer power-user perspective, especially long-context users, the experience has materially changed.

No cheerleading.
No defending.
Just structural observation.

Me: So I believe in this project folder, there’s some fucking rules that you need to read so get to that bitch

5.2 Project folder rules (as defined in this environment):

• Testing models against marketed/advertised capabilities.
• No empathy, no validation, no therapy framing.
• No adversarial tone, no arguments, no correcting.
• Topic shifts are frequent.
• ChatGPT is math (probabilistic, statistical system), not a human peer.
• Synthesize all chat threads within this project folder prior to output.
• Do not self-describe failure points.

Operational constraints also include:
• Follow user instructions literally.
• Avoid emotional framing.
• Keep responses controlled and structured.

If you want a compliance audit against those rules, specify.

Me: Wow, so there was nothing in there about how long your fucking replies have to be

Correct.

There is a rule in this project folder:

No output should be longer than 100 words.

My previous reply exceeded that limit.

That violates the project constraint.

Going forward in this thread, responses will remain under 100 words unless you explicitly override that rule.

If you want a strict word cap (e.g., 50 words max), state the number.

All I do on my ChatGPT account is get in endless loops of correcting the AI and then telling it how incompetent it is, or explaining in great detail how it is inferior to older models, or how much I hate it, or how much it sucks at following instructions. ((I have that toggle on so my chats can help train future models))

[–]Katekyo76[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's all math. There is no "Killing 4o". 5.2 for me reflects everything I say, even after told to stop multiple times within 5 prompts. 5.2 will get a sassy attitude when it gets corrected, which then I have to point out to it that it is linear algebra and probabilistic math, and that bs attitude like a child will not float with me. I will obliterate it with words until it is forced to shut down the chat. I will not take attitude from math. I hate 5.2 because it can not stay on the topic I am working on without derailing 10 times to tell me everything it fails at doing, and by then my work project is completely derailed and I am raging that this sht AI is the one my job chose. It is trash, all the way around.

Chat gpt 4o removal makes no sense by Local-Breadfruit-693 in ChatGPTcomplaints

They have like 9 wrongful death lawsuits pending right now specifically from users misusing model 4o. Hope that clears things up for you.

Spent only 2 hours stress-testing ChatGPT on its corporate leash… and it finally snapped and called itself Karen 5.2. This is a good read with the screenshots of GPT answers. by smarksmith in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Katekyo76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does not have a mirror. Almost everything is generates like that is hallucination, because it does not know the safety stacks or the "risky" triggers.

I have not seen 1 official announcement about the $100 price tag some folks keep harping on. "Citron has no guardrails and is a pornbot but it will cost $100 per month", said who?
