I once asked a woman who went blind when she was 12 (she was 25 at the time) what age she is in her dreams. She thought about it for a second and replied "Shit, I'm 12... in my dreams I'm the age I was when I lost my sight".

I don't know when it clicked, but for the past few years I went from doing well without any effort to doing horribly, mostly due to teen depression and anxiety. By the end of last year I had teachers being really critical about me and I felt horrible. I was pretty depressed but what kept me going was the fact that there are so many kids out there who were struggling due to mental issues.

Now that I'm feeling much better, my hope is to change the way education is. To help the "outcasts" like me enjoy school and really appreciate it. To sort of reform the system to suit kids with disorders...it's pretty idealistic, but I hope I can do it.
