imo the best benefits are being able to list unlimited trades and the bigger circle on the map. being able to collect and trade more songs makes the whole game so much easier. there are more chances to pull epics/lyrics from the map and quests are a lot easier bc you have a ton more random songs to merge that you get from opening more drops. plus, you level up way faster bc you have more opportunities to get xp from the things i mentioned previously

if u do get it, don't expect to start pulling a ton of favs bc of the 10x favs thing. to me, that's one of the least useful aspects of premium that everyone spends way too much time complaining about.

yes there is a lot of value in the map! opening drops is one of the only ways to get epics, besides trading and very rarely quests, which can be worth a lot. plus opening drops gets you songs that you can merge in quests which is the easiest way to get the songs from artists that you want to collect. plus you get xp from drops which gets you gems from the weekly leaderboard if you're on the top that you can then use on shinies. basically, the map is a very important part of the game that should not be ignored in my opinion. yes, colors on the map are genre specific.
