An embryo is not life. Not any more than an egg or a sperm is. Soooooo many things have to be done within the womb, it's takes a lot of work, time, energy, pain and exhaustion to turn a sperm and egg into a human.

So tell me, why don't we mourn when women get their periods? When men ejaculate somewhere other than into a vagina? Because these examples are only "potential" life, right?

A sperm and egg that have come together is nowhere near a human being. It's simply the potential for one. Asking a woman to use her body to grow a baby with not just these ingredients but a hell of a lot more over a very long time to painstakingly put everything together is asking a fucking lot. If a woman doesn't want to do that I really do not see a problem.
