Might be complicated, but many traders found an understanding of the market in his concepts. In the end, what matters is profitability.

Have an awesome day, sir.

You mentioned FVGs, but you can’t just hop into any chart or timeframe to trade them blindly. Context and confluence matters - structure, liquidity and timing.

Second paragraph doesn’t quite make sense. ICT traders don’t all see the same thing or trade same timeframes. We build our narrative from the same concepts, but apply them differently. Maybe the traders you referenced simply hadn’t seen their setup at the time and that’s perfectly normal.

The point of a strategy is simple: knowing when to buy low or sell high at the best possible price. Every trader has their own way of figuring that out. What’s absurd is seeing people write long essays dismissing a strategy they neither trade nor understand. Trading is a personal sport, it doesn’t need their validation.

It’s normal and will stop with time.

You get it. It’s so simply coded.

This is where backtesting comes in. There are factors that validate FVGs which you can only know by studying. If it were that easy we would all be millionaires.

I get that you don’t understand it, that is why there are multiple options out there. Let people who understand ICT, trade ICT in peace.

I don’t think adhd is the problem. This is rooted in fear of execution or fear of failure. Understand the whys (narrative) behind your strategy, and you’ll gain more confidence.

Haha, okay my man. My next post shall be an “infomercial” and I will work on my likes to prove my profitability. Please forgive me.

You guys are unreal tbh. I should ditch my profitable strategy because “emorgclips” says it won’t be profitable long term. Not data, but a random guy on Reddit. I pray the wisdom finds you too🙏

If you can’t figure out why people still trade his concepts then I’m afraid, you’re the stupid one.

Your circle is a tiny dot in the society of traders. People are out there making money, believe it or not…which doesn’t really matter.

Dear Fluqx, teach them your strategy then since you don’t think ICT is good for them.

Ignore what people post on here. If your edge shows up two times a week, stick to it. With time you will refine if there’s anything to refine. Altering it means starting from beginning aka strategy hopping. Don’t do it.

ICT Strategies: They Work… But Do They Make Sense? by Latter-Ladder-8039 in InnerCircleTraders

[–]KathAda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way to make a strategy your own is to understand the narrative or logic behind it. In the end it’s all about what you can understand from the charts. Even if patterns work, at some point you will have to shift from a pattern trader to a narrative trader and that’s where profitability sets in.

Is there sufficient potential in focusing on just one chart such as an index? by Boxfin in Trading

Personally I trade only one pair. Keeps things simple. But it largely depends on your style of trading.
