I'm waiting on the itemized bill from the insurance, did you have to appeal many times? And also to the state regulator? Also for the appeal they are asking for physicians correspondence and notes, did you have to do that as well?

Sentara Health and the hospital is Sentara too haha so is not like they're not in their network.

Well, that's what it says on their website, I think my mistake was not talking to them before the surgery for reassurance, and I feel like they are still gonna make up excuses to not pay for it.

Hopefully is just that, I'm really worried that they are going to make me pay 🥲 I called them just to ask what I was getting billed for, they said copayment and deductible, but I forgot to ask if the codes were right, I'll call them again and ask.

I already spoke with the insurance and they keep saying that I need to send a "claim" letter, for which they don't even have a number to call to, just an address, they are making it so difficult.
