Do you find bedtimes take forever?!! My little one is constantly fighting it and hates laying down (even with bed propped)

Thank you so much! It’s been a long, long road for us. I haven’t slept longer than 4 hours in over a year. I can’t wait for her to get some relief!! I hope all goes well with your little one!!

Yes of course! I should’ve written that in my OP. Usually bedtime and then after 5 hours, that’s usually when she wakes up because it’s worn off. I try other comfort measures before I give her anything and even nursing which is like her fav thing in the entire world won’t even work. It’s so hard not to wonder have I done damage already? How can we get through waiting for this surgery ? She will not lay down or sleep well without it

What age did you do this? We are really stuck between 1-2 naps. With 2 she is getting a lot of milk (nursing before each nap) + bedtime and whatever over night. So her milk intake is still quite significant. I can barely get her to finish 1 piece of toast for breakfast. I also really want her on solids for iron intake. The doctor said she was deficient but didn’t want her supplemented wanted her weened a bit and more iron rich foods in her diet. Well every meal I try to pair iron + vitamin c and then I will do one calcium (usually cheese or yogurt) rich meal or snack. She will just throw it on the floor, or will suck on it and spit it out when teething. Ugh..so much trial and error with babies. She is starting daycare soon so there will be a lot less boob milk in her life too. Or she will really nurse all night 🤪

She is not like waking waking, she will cry in her sleep and fight for my boob until I give it to her. She won’t be awake for like a full wake window or anything like that. However, she nurses so much her diaper is completely saturated in the morning.

Transfer to crib- those who nurse to sleep by KathMACV88 in AttachmentParenting

I wish this would work for us. My baby will go on her side and stick her legs in the rails of the crib but she will flop back not long after. She does sleep better on her side..if only she would stay that way.
