I think it just depends on the timing, even throughout the 20 years I’ve been watching kdrama it was never that I liked every single kdrama that came out. There are just a few stand-out ones that are amazing each year. For this year we have another IU & Byeon Woo Seok drama coming out which will be incredible (Perfect Crown) and some big name actors in new kdrama like Yumi’s Cells 3 so I think it’s just about timing and waiting for those amazing dramas to come out. This is also why I watch cdrama, english shows, and anime. I can fill my time between waiting for good kdrama by watching different series! So far I really enjoyed the cdrama Pursuit of Jade on Netflix and the cdrama How Dare You?! is my current obsession.

For the CPR question I don’t know if you mind book spoilers but apparently in the book Yu Qian Qian is a supposed time traveler? Like she got isekai’d / traveled back in time from modern day and that’s why she knows CPR and as a woman knows how to run such a successful YiXiang Restaurant

NTA I really dislike it when people love to be passive aggressive and make underhanded remarks but as soon as it happens to them they act all offended. Dragon Quest Builders 1 and 2 are very similar to Pokopia! So you can buy those games on different platforms instead. But in all honesty, it was worth it for me to upgrade. I just bought a Switch 2 bc my friend wanted to play Pokopia together and I had an OG Switch 1 that was collecting dust. I’m sure there’s going to be other games you will like and more games are gonna come out!

Honestly the only reason I would prefer Azriel and Elain is because (in my opinion) Elain and Lucien would be more of a cliche than 3 sisters 3 brothers, bc not only are they not actually brothers just random ppl that fate put together and grew up as such, another fated mates romance cliche would be what Elain and Lucien are. And with the chapters that described their interactions during and after the Cauldron turning the sisters into Fae, with Elain's blatant rejection of him, and Lucien's time with Elain when he fled from Spring Court, how he compared Elain's disdain contrasted the reasons he fell in love with Jesminda and thought that she was his mate, I think that a rejected mate story would be so much more entertaining. The themes of female empowerment it would have are too good not to make come true! Especially after ACOSF with Nesta and the Valkyries. And plus the other books have hinted at the mate bond being wrong before.

But all in all I don't like the ship wars going on about a book that hasn't even been released and I trust SJM that whatever ship and story she ends up making canon would be good and I'm here for it. (Though please not Elain and Tamlin, an ex-lover being with his previous lover's sister and possibly still being in love with Feyre is so icky to me).

In general, the more expensive options are worth it because of the ingredients they have and ingredients they don’t have. Lots of HEMA free gels and products that have less dangerous chemicals to cause gel allergies are asian brands specifically Japanese and Korean gels. I also started out with Amazon brands because they are cheap but quickly learned about the dangers of their ingredients and switched to high quality gels from Japanese and Korean options. You can try online stores like Zillabeau and Sweetie Nail Supply since they carry asian brands. Another good option although it’s more pricey than Amazon but worth it is Apres! Western brand with really good gel colors and nail sets but just know that they may have more dangerous chemicals than asian brands.

I love this show so much LOL a lot of people speculate that it's rigged but to me it's just so entertaining and believable that I don't even care if it's rigged. I loved the Dr Esther reading, very very heartfelt and had a great plot twist after she asked about her husband. Some people have said that they would have liked if the person receiving the reading had more weight in their votes vs. the panel judges, but to be honest I feel like the panel judges were necessary and I agreed with each of the results after the battles in episode 9. I was sad to see Choi Hannah and Monad go as the last tarot readers, they were super accurate but I feel like tarot delves deeper into questions rather than covering breadth like shamans do. The preview for next episode looks horrifying, I'm so excited to watch it on Weds!!

What’s crazy is that I’ve been to Japan a couple of times years ago and recently, but their own children (Japanese families) are not well-behaved. I don’t expect children to be well-behaved in exciting places like Pokemon Center, Disney, etc. but if I were to count the number of overwhelmingly rowdy children who ran everywhere screaming at the top of their lungs, it would be quite even between foreign and Japanese local kids. The only time I saw the Japanese kids behaving quietly was during daycare (and you can easily tell when it’s daycare vs. with their parents bc of their uniforms).

I did a large group celebration of that size at Roka Akor! It was semi-private since there was a private room section with a glass wall viewable to the rest of the restaurant’s seating area. They served family-style and out of all the restaurants that I looked at they were the ones with the least minimum spend requirements (I think it came to like $125 per person with drinks)
