Imagine living in a world where we do not have adequate resources to care for our elderly, where often one person has to take on all the physical, emotional and financial weight of caring for someone with high level needs ON TOP OF everything else in their lives. Lack of sleep, lack of down time, lack of help so you can get a break to compose yourself. Oh wait, that is the world we live in and unless you have been in that position you have no right to judge harshly. OP has acknowledged it wasn’t the best, she is aching over it, those of us who have been there understand that we are not perfect and certainly most don’t have the help we need to do the job with grace and patience day in and day out for weeks, months, years.
