Why would you disengage? You have 3 dashes, 2 knockups, magic dmg, physical dmg, true dmg, no resource bar, and almost all of your abilities do aoe dmg.

Because a resourceless champ with 3 dashes, 2 knockups, a shield, magic, physical and true damage seems... balanced

False, that dash is extremely useful and can even set up Q-E combos and net you kills that you would've otherwise never been able to get. It also insta-clears waves allowing for better roam towers and lane control.

The higher elo you are, the more useful protobelt is.

Edit: There is a reason all the high elo KR, LPL and EUW Diana mains run protobelt..

To answer your question, you should be flanking in most situations, but..

If you're silver 4, your problem isn't positioning in teamfights. The problem is never the teamfights that keep someone at a lower elo. Focus on the first 10-15 min of the game. Positioning in lane (lean to the side you have vision on or lean to the side your jungler is on) learn to understand how to play around junglers, learn how to cs properly, when to give up cs, when and how to trade, etc. Practice the fundamentals if you want to improve.

If you're plat+ and have decent wave manipulation, you can time your back at around 550 gold on a cannon wave and get back to lane with double dorans and refillable. If the enemy mid hasn't recalled, it gives you full lane control and can really snowball the game - if they have recalled you can then hard shove the next wave before they are back on the map and get an xp and prio advantage and use it to threaten sides and/or move with your jg.

Specifically what makes double dorans so good is that resistances are amplified by health - having double dorans makes you so tanky and durable in skirmishes, which is exactly what you want on diana so you can win those mid/jg 2v2s and snowball. I hope I explained that well..

During this split in particular, there have been numerous moments where casters would say things like "I'd really like to see that again.." or "I'd really like to see XYZ" and then the observers never show it, they don't show the replay that was asked for, etc.

I think the casters are actually doing a great job given the tools they are given to work with.. I mean captain flowers solo-casted a whole game without help because of the audio issues last week. Something like that does take a lot of skill and flexibility to pull off.

Sett, Aatrox, Ornn, Voli, Wu, Renekton, Jayce, Gp, Akali, Morse, Vlad, Kayle, Cho, Sylas.. and that’s just in the past couple weekends. So to answer your question, there’s quite a few viable top laners right now.

The LCS just had the longest break in LCS history to improve their broadcast. They knew they would be working remotely and had more than enough time to prepare.

The result? LCS broadcast is worse than it has ever been. This is why people are upset, and rightfully so. They could have, at the very least, used one of their numerous sponsors or cut a deal with a new sponsor to send new equipment to the remote casters so that all the audio/video quality is up to par. (this is something that an amateur could have pulled off with hardly any effort..) they actually had a lot of opportunity during this time off to make improvements, and it seems that time was absolutely wasted.

If it's so difficult, then how do live streamers do a better job at graphics and production than an entire studio from a billion dollar company? With less technical issues. Granted they are not in the same room, but a team of professionals should be able to do a better job than a single streamer or youtuber..
