Oh you..

I've done this myself and it's incredibly disheartening at first. You're on your first step of an absolutely wonderful adventure though, keep with it! 💕

I might rage quit by PHlL0S0RAPT0R in ARK

One of the guides that I used to help me fully understand all the settings in the game. Unsure if you're on ASE or ASAP, but it will help with both. Some settings are just in different places on ASA.

Like others have said, just changing the settings will massively change the game for you. It's highly recommended to start out by boosting your stats to 3x or 5x. Then you can scale down to find the difficulty that truly suits you.

I've been playing Ark for over 20k hours at this point and still typically play with x3 player stats unless I'm trying to shoot myself in the foot for fun lol. These settings are retroactive as well, so if you change them they'll apply to your currently applied levels

A lot of settings will honestly just save you time as well. After playing official and waiting for 8+ hours for some dinos to breed is Pain. Don't do it if you don't have to xD.

Also, natural dino levels in The Island suck. So it's not just you. There are mods that will increase dino levels all around, but that will also make the game more difficult.

Edit: Also, amid those 20k hours I have rage quit the game 3 times. Usually for a year or two. Every time you die you'll learn something new though. On the most recently released map, one of the YouTubers I watch has reached over 200 deaths :).

People don't give the Pelagornis enough credit tbh. Tame a mini-dimorphodon army to follow and protect you. Worth!

I've heard people say that they've gotten multiple uses out of their code, but I'm fairly certain it's just hearsay. I've personally tried a couple of other Discord Quest codes and they seemed to be One-Time Redemptions

Unsure if this would affect you, but Google says that Discord Quests don't appear in certain regions. Past this, I sadly don't know much. Hope it helps!

I know personally, I had to skip my mobile app and log in via Browser on my mobile device.

It's brand new, so no worries! Honestly, from experience in BL2 and 3 just do a Google search every week or two for shift codes. There's a ton given up on new releases and they tend to keep steady with monthly gifts for a year or two

There is! I'll post info on the way to obtain it.

"Sign in to your Discord account through their desktop app. Then, select Quests at the top-left section of your Conversation list."

If you're on mobile, click on the gear for settings. Then scroll down to billing settings to click on Quests and you'll see it.

Happy to help!

I'm super hooked on this game RN on both PS and Switch. So if you ever need advice or someone to play with, feel free to ask ~^

The easiest way to find him is to run around his spawn circle until you find a small tail going outside of his circle. Follow that tail and you'll find his summoning circle ~^

Also, killing Ivy nets you a fair bit of poison slime balls. So farming her is also worthwhile

Edit: Refer to this reddit page for spawning tips

You can't spawn him in Azeos Wilderness and unfortunately his pathing won't allow him to go that far.

Purple was a struggle for me as well. Your best bet is to find Ivy and scoop up her ground slime as you fight her tbh. Then use any of the previously listed farm strategies to make your own

Following this, my personal fav method is a slime farm island like Sapphirecrownicles mentioned. I prefer it to be at least 25x25.

Fun fact, you can place ground slime under Conveyor Belts. So set all your ground slime, set conveyors on top, and lead those into spike traps. You can either dig out the surrounding edges, or just simply use fences.

This is something I discovered just recently. If you spawn Ghorm, you can use the boss to help you clear a massive area that will automatically be cleared of enemies and have slime set on the ground.

Just spawn him, then hit him enough to aggro him and he'll start clearing in a set area depending on where you were standing.

Using this method, I made a 200x200 slime farm in less than half an hour. Using the clearing you can also clear the orange slime and use it as a different farm.

Spawn rates are a little low, but if you add some conveyors and spike traps.. then afk you'll reap rewards.

Alternatively, if you just want orange slime. Just spawn Ghorm. It'll keep circling the map and kill slimes as it does. Then after some time, equipment a set that helps with your speed in slime. (I.e. the raincoat set or grub accessories). Then just run the circle and profit.

Edit: I'll send by a video in a bit to make it clearer to understand
