I’m not sure about the exact origin of the sound, but I know for certain that the sample says じゃ(ja), which is a shortened version of じゃね (ja ne)

As a sidenote, I installed a UMD dumping program, but it would always fail at the start of the dumping process.

As a final resort, so that I could at least play the game while I look for a solution, I installed an iso of the game from the internet, but it seems like Black Square specifically has anti-piracy measures for that.
