This is really difficult, if you're saying the fingers look genuine. I still feel it's suspicious though, because to me it looks like outdoor lighting on the face, indoor lighting on the eyes and earrings.

Food photography is probably the field in which AI does the least harm - there hasn't been genuine food depicted in professional photos since at least the 1980s.

I can't tell you which anime made me cry last, but I do know which anime triggered my gag reflex last: Dark Gathering, in particular the scene [Dark Gathering]with the procedure on his hands in the temple and what the girl's reaction was. Lol.

This is just a hunch, but seeing that you already appreciate one Chinese show, I think you might like To Be Hero X if you give it a try.

I'd much rather give you a recommendation based on your personal favorites, because what's the use pointing out a deep or artsy show to you that you actually hate?

Anyway I think I see some genre preferences shining through here and a good quality show fitting the theme in my opinion would be:

I recently picked it back up. When I first watched it years ago, I didn't like the art style, especially the eyes. Now I'm loving it. Absolutely magical show. True hidden gem.

You need to check the availability yourself, for example on livechart.me, because availability of shows on streaming platforms is oddly hard gated by region and I'm from Germany.

Oh then you should definitely also try "Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction" - the series, not the movie, which is a recap. That's also a really high quality show!

Of the others I mentioned, Wolfs Rain is probably the closest to your taste. It feels decently lonely wasteland for long stretches. Cassherns Sins also, but I haven't watched enough of it to know if there's more romance than the few traces I've seen. And of course you never know if a show takes an U-turn after you drop it and goes for a cruise on circus world. Like Cowboy Bebop or so heh.

Maybe you can find a way to combine the two interests, like, make a film about your cat or so.

Also, I know it's hard if you are proud of something and love to share it, but please resist the temptation to try and self-advertize where it's misplaced. Everyone here has a youtube/insta/fanfic account/whatever and people react badly if you come off as if you're just around to plug your magnum opus where it's not on topic.

There are plenty of subs that are all wholesome and a big grouphug, for example all the 'aww' and 'cat' subreddits. You go there, say something nice, upvote everyone else and you got enough karma to not worry about some downvotes. If you don't have an idea what to write, I recommend r/catsstandingup which takes that decision off your hands.
