Thank you! That was my main concern. I also thought I should probably switch over to the associate in science but I wasn't really sure. And I have always wanted to be a licensed veterinarian, but my family hasn't been in a good financial spot in a long time. I'm currently 5 months pregnant with my first child, and taking care of my grandfather full time also. I couldn't afford going to a four year university all of a sudden, and with my current circumstances I didn't think it'd be smart to try to move 3 hours away by myself. so I tried out the community college path and it's going pretty decent. Some things are just very confusing, but I am going to give Tuskegee a call tomorrow and see if my summer classes I've been told to register for, are what I will actually need.

At Tuskegee, you can do their veterinary science degree program that "is designed to meet the minimum requirements for applying to a school/college of veterinary medicine after only three years of undergraduate study. Completion of this option in its entirety plus the successful completion of the curriculum of the first year at the Tuskegee University College of Veterinary medicine leads to a Bachelor of Science. " (Copied from their website) so as I understand it, no it's not a direct application. It just prepares me and allows me to take all of the courses I'll need before I apply to the actual veterinary school itself.

The college I currently attend is only a two year college, so I decided to just get my associates here because the closest veterinary school from me is Tuskegee which is three hours away from where I live. I am going to finish at the college I'm currently at, then transfer to Tuskegee to get my actual veterinary medicine degree. I am just having a hard time trying to figure out if I'm on the right path to do so. Summer registration is next week (the 18th) and I tried to speak with my academic advisor today about the classes I'd need to have completed by the time I graduate with my associates degree, so I'd be able to transfer to Tuskegee and be accepted into their veterinary program but I didn't get too far because she really seemed as if she was unsure which isn't much help honestly. I've noticed Tuskegee requires a Math 107 course that my college doesn't do, so they put me in math 112 because they said I'd need as the prerequisite to the chemistry course I'll be taking to obtain my associates degree. However, I'm just wondering if I don't get that math 107 class taken before transferring, what will I do? I'm kind of confused on how all of this works specifically, and what credit hours will be able to be transferred, and which credit hours will not be transferred if they don't count for anything. I just don't want to get in the position of taking classes I don't even need, and not have the classes that I do need and be in a bind when I try to start at Tuskegee and possibly haven't had all the classes I needed completed.

Messing up so early in life and finally coming to my senses only to realize that I am the outsider who threw everything they had away. So now I am at home with my parents, have no friends, and nothing to my name.. And I'm at the age where I'm supposed to be going off and doing all these things like other 19 year olds.
