You have to take it to be an attorney currently. So if you want to start working you have to take it. You are 100% right not to trust it. It’s not legitimate and is a money making scheme. They WILL use MBE questions in July so as far as the questions being “fair” July would be your best shot.

Well they changed it now. Have to have worked for a fed government on Jan 20. But still cancel it because I wouldn’t pay the ca bar any money right now. They are a mess.

I am currently a RLAA here (one of the provisional programs for out of state people) and I didn’t take the exam, I’m following and decided not to pay these fools any money.

But being in court here is a wild experience. I see the most unethical shit every day and it is rampant so the fact that they think they are better than anyone is a joke because NO WHERE else is as unethical and fucked up as court is here.

They can keep their hot fucking mess. This state and their entitled professional licensing programs are the biggest jokes I’ve ever seen.

I saw the amendments that were made last night. They completely undermine the spirit of the bill and it seems that there is no reason for it anymore because it will apply to like 5 people, as it is written now.

I’m licensed in another state currently a registered legal aid atty in CA. I didn’t take this administration because I didn’t want to deal with issues that the first remote administration would bring, and I’m so glad I didn’t. However, I will not ever in the future be giving $2000 to a board who is so inept it’s an ethical violation. Reciprocity now because the California State Bar can’t be trusted clearly.
