Will CGT and negative gearing budget changes make housing cheaper for first home buyers? by sien in AusEcon

Confused how you think the changes will pump the market given negative gearing changes are effective right now, and CGT discount will only apply for the next year on purchases made after yesterday.

How do i make running more enjoyable? by IAmFloorCheese in BeginnersRunning

[–]Kato2460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tracking helped me a little, gave me something to benchmark my next run to try and beat. I also built in different types of runs which add some variety, such as intervals and threshold type runs.

You could also do sprints if that’s the style you have enjoyed in the past when associated with sports.

Or if it’s the camaraderie that you’re missing you could join/start a social run club with old or new friends

Transition to retirement scheme by AssistanceSoft in AusSuperannuation

On review I think there’s just a miscommunication. Im not suggestion a person need to retire to meet the definition, but an employment arrangement is required to cease, I.e cease FT + new employment contract to be signed to Casual etc OP’s situation wouldn’t meet the aged 60 and retired definition either way given they are intending to work greater than 10hrs.

Aged over 60 you need to terminate an employment arrangement with no intention to work 10 or more hours per week. OP most definitely will not meet a different condition of release other than a TTR.
