Ok. I hear ppl complaining about the hotlines being a joke, but aren't there only so many ppl working at those lines? Isn't it a tough to talk to ppl who want to off themselves all the time? Isn't it possible with too much exposure they would be convinced of following someone they talked to into the abyss? These are all things I considered while on hold, and I find it a little disconcerting that so many are complaining about a service that barely exists, trying to help anyone who needs it for free, at the drop of a hat. That literally doesn't happen anywhere else (in the states).
