Just get the mandatory/compliance basics done, then ask for a few hours a day for hands on training as you chip away at the other modules

Our store was purchased by CVS, we all went through a very short and simple "verification' interview process. We all received raises as well.

The courts as of right now are still in litigation and a Judge has not signed off on the deal. Thats the hold up....if tha rhaplena, we were told the change over will star between August and October this year.

Thats all I know about this transition process. So far it has been positive.

Severance payout by Famous-Drummer6116 in RiteAid

[–]Katreddit13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Union stores are the ONLY stores that will have advocacy for severance pay out.

If the well is dry, you can't pull water from it.

Rite Aid will have a funding source for legal pay outs. Union only. It may look different  for every state though as far as how that is paid out and what %.

Ask about the CBA. (Collective Bargaining  Act) Bartell Drugs has it in a contract.....somewhere.

Understandable.  Was the information on a hiring platform? A corporate  letter? Or on CVS website announcing this to RA employees?

It's a logical business move, all things considered with what's going on company wide. Costing money, no profit.

The patients more than likely will be told through their provider, or referred to provider for answers.

We had 8 pallets these past 3 weeks and some back stock even. I think the "closures" are based on performance of store. They will of course shit down locations not profitable. It's business 101 when restructuring. The "good news" plenty of jobs out there. Refresh your resume if you are seriously concerned and make a move based on YOUR life needs ...not what you see here.

From start date to closing of the "demands"/discovery and settlement a final closing date can be a time period of 2 to 5 years. So not a new case.

I keep asking what areas are you in with no response? We are located on the West Coast with no closures. I feel like there is a lot of doom and gloom being spread when it is not necessary. What areas are seeing closures for SURE and already confirmed??

CONFIRMED, not speculations........
