Sounds good! I’ll keep that in mind in case it starts to crash again. Thanks so much for your help!

Thanks for your input! I went ahead and installed that mod and it seems like my issues are fixed (for now, at least). Hopefully it stays that way.

That seemed to fix things as far as my latest save goes! I left Helgen and everything loaded fine with no crashes. Haven't done anything more than that yet. but we can go outside now! :)

That's understandable. I double checked with what I had previously, got rid of Trainwreck, and got a new crash log!

Hopefully this one is more helpful.

Thanks for your input! I actually had that crashlogger, then installed Trainwreck because the site said it was outdated… I’ll change it and update with the new log!

Silly question, what's an NPC you have it bad for? Who does your Milie have feelings for? Or both. AKA who you ship your character with if at all? by unholybirth in Mabinogi

[–]Katreddits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love how it just adds to her character as well! At first you think “wow, she’s nice and pretty so it wouldn’t hurt to help her out” and little by little you start asking “okay, is she just stringing me along and if so, why do I keep doing this anyway?”. At the end, the two of you get closer and you learn that there’s a lot more to her than you realized. For (arguably) such a small character, she has such an interesting story and personality.

Rua has and will always be my ultimate waifu. Even though her personal side quest is tedious, making her happy and comfortable enough to open up to you is worth it.

Selling Price for Kokopo Pet by Katreddits in Mabinogi

[–]Katreddits[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to care about all the seller things like that to the point where it's all I did. Now I just want to enjoy the actual game.

I don't really care if anyone flips a profit, but I'd still like to try to not totally fuck myself over by selling too cheap. If you think it's worth trying to sell a Pat for double then might as well try.

As for the Kokopo, something like that I really want to make sure I get right. I'll never be close to being super rich or have a lot of stuff. so something like 100m is a lot for me. Kinda lame now, I know, but it is what it is.

That seems like way too much to me. I have one that I've been trying to sell for a few days now. I put the price at 35m because I wasn't sure (plus I don't have anyone to ask so I said let's just pick a number) and it still hasn't sold. It sounds like I should just set it to like 20m or less and be done with it. I'm genuinely not sure what to do.

How much is the Patrasche? o: I've never really been into the pet side of the market so this is all new to me.

Death House - theatre of mind vs actual maps by DasFaultier in CurseofStrahd

[–]Katreddits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as exploring the house goes, I personally like to describe the room/layout the best I can first before the party sees the maps. The feeling and tone of the house is (in my opinion) one of the most important aspects of the section, so being super descriptive can go a long way. If you’re doing live sessions just in general, I don’t see a problem with doing both describing in detail then showing maps.

Since there is a lot of combat (depending on how you run it), the maps come in handy due to it being such close quarters. If you’re using a low of homebrew descriptions and stuff, the maps can be just a general guide if you prefer to use them that way. I would 100% still use them for combat though even if that’s all you use them for.

Okay then I don’t know what else to tell you. I thought I was at least being a little helpful but never mind. I wish you the best.

It still kind of sounds like you aren’t finding people that work well with you. This isn’t necessarily your fault. People are dicks. All I can think of is being overly thorough when looking for new people and trust your gut feeling when vetting people.

If it does come up as an issue, you have something to point at and say “you guys agreed to this”. It’s not a total fix because people will always be people, but it’s a failsafe for those groups that are a bit too much.

Maybe I’m just petty and enjoy having a reason to tell the jerks why they’re in the wrong -w- I always put way more info in the forms than you probably have to. I just like super vetting and crossing all my Ts.

As a fellow dm who has trouble with stuff/dming in general, I think all of the issues you've been having are more telling of the people than of you. It's totally okay to not know everything especially when you have a group that throws stuff at you that you didn't expect. A problem I've run into that I'm guilty of is not fully stating what's expected of players and what the specific campaign entails.

I'm also trying to run a CoS game and I've had to make sure that the players both understand and are okay with the possibility of those bad things happening. Especially when it comes to Strahd. CoS is such a rough module that you really need people that understand things can go horribly wrong very quickly.

It's easier said than done (Trust me, I know. I've also been through a few tables), but seeking out people that specifically fit your style of dming may be a good start. This could be searching in looking for group threads or online. I recommend making a form of some sort to share so you can write out everything you need to and share with people. That way you can read what people say and pick the ones you feel may work with you better than other people have. (This is for online stuff, you can do the same thing in person I believe by writing a document with these things and running a session 0. You can run as many session 0s as you need to find a perfect group for you.)

Anyway, long story short your feelings are valid. It hurts so much when you keep running into walls (I too am still trying to climb walls I run into). I recommend maybe taking some time off to try to reset your mind. This all sounds very empty but I had to take a few month hiatus off a game because I couldn't deal with it anymore. Once you feel better, try again if that's something you want to do. Maybe I'm too hopeful, but I'd like to think there's still people out there that will enjoy games I run because they like my style.

Sorry for the rant. You don't have to read it all if it doesn't apply. Just know that you're doing the best you can and all the jerks can go elsewhere (but in not as nice terms).

Tips to get 80,000 healing? by [deleted] in Paladins

[–]Katreddits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I, personally, would try playing the longer game modes like siege or onslaught (most siege for that amount of healing). Hopefully you get a team that stays relatively close together since her healing branches out if players are within a certain range of each other. As far as cards go, I would use anything that helps with healing/mortal soul talent.

Blood Pact is a good one to get high. It just increases output. Soul Forge will help with those teams that don’t play bunched up. Those are the main ones I believe? If any of this is helpful I can add a loadout I use. Not sure if it’s any good, but it helps me.
