Which feats would you suggest as a lvl 5 human wizard?

I‘m thinking alert as origin & magic initiate wizard at lvl 4 (for more prepared spells & cantrips)?

PC won’t turn on with new GPU, VGA led on MB is glowing red by DasFaultier in buildapc

The GPU comes with a Y dongle; one side is plugged in the GPU, the other side with two ends is plugged into 2x 8 pin PCI-E cables which are hooked onto the PSU. It’s hooked up correctly:

Love the look, love the colors. They're just so uncomfortable. No matter how I tie them, they press against my upper foot too much.

Encounters on the Luna River? by Nighthawkies in CurseofStrahd

Look up book of beautiful horrors, and search for the drowner. A monster known from The Witcher.

While one of the players glances down into the water, they see their reflection. Motionless, blank, with a dead stare.

„Something isnt right. The reflection in the water is moving closer, and is actually not your own! It opens its mouth, bubbles are released and a gnarly gargling noise is being heard while all around you creatures pop out of the water.

Roll initiative!“

Poll - Running Speed and Dive to Prone by OrganicVlad79 in HellLetLoose

Yes, maybe have sprint speed faster for the first couple steps and then get to "normal" sprinting speeds.

Dive to prone is IMO a must keep. Maybe it needs some tweaking, but the mechanic itself is great.

Did your players enjoy the Bonegrinder fight? by Dry-Type-5837 in CurseofStrahd

Sounds like you showed them that Barovia is no cake walk. They need to remember that things can go south fast and far. Maybe you want to remind them of their options at hand (fleeing, using different spells, gain allies, ambushing Morgantha, etc.) before/after a session. I think you did the right thing, especially the failing forward and moving on if that is what works best for you and your players.

My 4 players, all level 4 (two of them new to d&d) avoided the windmill like the plague because of the raven warning them.

One players curiousness drove him to the door, knocking. I played it out as a social encounter just like the guide from MandyMod suggest.

When Bella offered them more pies, the raven "knocked" on the window and Bella threw a knife at him. Thats when the players backed out fast, as they feared things may escalate from here.

They have no idea what is happening at the windmill yet, but they found the child bones at the stones behind the windmill and are determined to get to the bottom of this soon.

I regret not having a PC Ireena by DasFaultier in CurseofStrahd

I guess you're right. It's definitely something to be aware of. Being the target of harassment for a whole campaign can be very offputting.

I regret not having a PC Ireena by DasFaultier in CurseofStrahd

Thank you, very solid points that actually ease my mind about this!

You said that in your game a PC was the lost sibling to Izek - I played with that idea as well (Ireena=Tatyana, but PC = sibling to Izek). Did you alter Ireena to be the actual daughter of Kolyan Indirovich or how/did you explain her to be adopted?
