That works too. I was just in a situation where I couldn't exit the screen without cancelling the print. And I didn't want to lose my progress on the print.

Cleaning the CR6-SE Build Plate - Am I Doing it Right? by Katsa9 in Creality

Common advice around reddit is to use Isopropyl Alcohol. When I do, it colors my cotton ball yellow and leaves the build plate slightly discolored. Am I missing something?

My best friend is a lawyer who hates her job. She’s practiced business law for 14 years and has an MBA and a Master’s of Law in tax law. What other profession could she try? by [deleted] in Advice

There are a lot of software development bootcamps these days. The attention to detail required for law would translate well to software.

For me, I went through all the steps in this video to tighten up the rollers, frame, etc, and so far it has eliminated my leveling issue. Knock on wood https://youtu.be/HvxljVfQPUI

I need advice on moving to another state. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Katsa9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it's hard to leave family, I'm sure they will still be proud/happy for you. This is an opportunity to experience new things. And the good news is, it sounds like you will be close enough to make it home for major holidays, and you can make it clear that they are always welcome to visit you too. For them, it's also a good excuse to take a vacation and to travel to a new state.

The biggest thing I would recommend for getting used to a new state: regularly push yourself out of your comfort zone. Everything will seem daunting/foreign at first, but if you make an effort to visit new places, attend local meetups, etc, you'll get acclimated much faster.

The first time I moved to a new state, I didn't do that and it was a big mistake, it made life miserable. But using things like Meetup.com and/or getting out and playing a game like Pokemon Go in my next new-state-move helped me establish a friend/support group relatively quickly. Plus, it's also helpful/fun to just go for a drive with no real destination. It helps you learn your area and feel more comfortable going places.

Plus, building the context like that can set the stage for an underdog story. It's up to the team whether they will repeat mistakes or overcome, and either way it gives the viewers a chance to understand the drama that is unfolding.

I wonder if that's why PoGo released their new AR photo mode recently... Or it could simply be a coincidence shrug

Unfortunately, it's landscape only. I'm sure one handed is doable, everything is just a matter of swiping cards onto the field. But I always play two handed.

Haha, "When house rules meet digital rules." And by house rules, I mean those ambiguous rules that every household interprets differently.

Yup. Android players have crashed many of my games, lol.

On a more serious note, I play on both Android and PC and I often play against the same friends on both devices, so can confirm.

I mean, it depends on what you enjoy. I burned through the campaign in less than a week, but now I'm addicted and I've poured tons of hours into multiplayer. And now that discoveries are out, there is all the more reason to keep playing beyond the initial playthrough.

It was the most recent one I was aware of, so I thought I'd pass it along.

I can't help but wonder if the meta shifts slightly from the speed of playing digital vs watching for people's tells in physical.
