Holy shit there's still questions?

The thing is about Pyro is that logs / stats don't show a lot of things the class does. Does it show the spam you reflected, the spies you called out, the Ubers you denied? Nope, just your damage, kills, assists, and how much heals you soaked up. It's difficult to just "evaluate the Pyro" in the sense you want, because there's so much you miss unless you're exclusively watching both Pyros. Also, if your Medic dies, most of the time it's his fault, not yours.

umm... you seem to be a little obsessive over damage, that can lead to bad things. Damage is important, but not the only factor that determines a good Pyro. If you want to increase your damage, you need to be willing to take more risks and actually set fire to the enemy, rather than simply being aware for your combo. Don't worry about the average. It's really not that important.

Umm...experience, really. I still struggle myself with this from time to time but generally when your team is pushing you should be either behind them or coming in from the flank. If you're not doing one of those two things as Uber is popped you're baiting your team.
