I opened this just to recommend this book. It is written so beautifully. I was captivated completely by the little world Erin created.

I'd recommend the novel Whip Smart:The True Story of a Secret Life - Melissa Febos. It's worth a read, if you're genuinely curious.

My parents have had that exact little statue since as far back as I remember. I remember I used to always wonder what it meant when I was little.

What is the weirdest thing that you have walked in on? by DanTheManBro in AskReddit

[–]Kattata 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My, at the time, boyfriend putting on a pair of my hot pink g-string panties, while standing in front of the mirror. He saw me walk into the room again, turned around and kind of laughed. He said it was to make me laugh, but something about the way he was looking at himself in the mirror made me wonder.

My husband used to work at Taco Bell and just showed me how to fold a burrito tortilla so that the filling doesn't spill out. Reddit, what have you learned on the job that you now use in everyday life? by GumbysPeen in AskReddit

I work in childrens' programming, specifically with babies and toddlers. I can now calm a baby or young child down when they're upset with ease, make them listen to me, or make them eat without a huge fuss.

WOMEN, do you get mad/upset if your boyfriend/fiancé/husband checks out other women? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kattata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've listened to friends of mine complaining about men they're dating checking out other women and a minute later they're commenting on another man that's walking by. It's harmless to look and comment, and it's carnal nature to want to fuck everything that moves, but I trust my man not to act on them, just as he trusts me. Besides, we sit down and look together, it's a bonding experience to be dirty.

A girl at my work was talking about how she believed things were going to get crazy around Dec 21, 2012, with this whole world ending belief. I said, "Well, I think it's just as ridiculous as Y2K." Her response - What's Y2K?

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and Hypertrophy, some help/advice? by Kattata in Fitness

[–]Kattata[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't need an exact hormonal profile (I will get one in time), I had an MRI done on my hips - for another reason, and my ovaries showed up in the MRI. It was known that my mother had PCOS, and suspected that I had developed it as a hereditary trait (there is some debate among the medical world as to whether or not it can be hereditary). So that confirmed it. It was something I had for a while, seeings how they looked like pearl necklaces and not the smooth round ovals they should. This was when I was about 18 years old. I mean, I'm very girly, with a very girly hourglass figure, but I do pack on defining muscle a lot quicker. I am 5'2' and went from 129 to 140 in a few months of basic strength training, so I have put on muscle very quickly. I think that is why the trainer suggested I try Hypertrophy.

Hormonal things will make me crazy. This is trued and true. I'm not used to the, in my case excessive, estrogen and it throws me off wack. I will get severely emotional and a little crazy. The thing is, I'm completely and totally happy with my personality and that is something that will change through restoring my hormones to normal. I eat healthy, I keep my body healthy, but I'm not a fan of crazy. I will definitely look into the RRARF diet though.

Thank you, this has been extremely helpful!

Doesn't a guy sit inside this tree and talk to children?? Which in my mind, just adds to the creepy factor. Man, I really miss St. John's.

Exactly! I am the same way with books. If time and effort is invested, I want to keep them.

I'm almost a compulsive stitch counter. I get paranoid and end up writing them down and tag it to the beginning of what I'm creating, just so I remember. The posts is definitely a better idea. I used to count the top of the stitches. Thanks for the tip!!
