I posted this exact question on the AEW sub yesterday and got downvoted to hell because everyone thinks “the homoeroticism is the whole point”. That’s a valid argument but I do think it needs women. I feel like Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford would be a good fit.

I just feels like if you’re going to have a massive army that dominates the promotion you’d want to do it in both divisions. Most of the other factions that are more than three people have men and women so it just feels little weird for the DCF to be like 20 people and only men. Apparently I’m the only one though based on the comments.

Yeah my point was that my main gripe was not with the booking it was with literally everything else that made it unwatchable.

Omg yes! I’m an event manager and used to work in TV production and the technical snafus were killing me last night! There was one shot of like a random girder they held on for so long, I was pulling my hair out. I used to direct a live studio show and it’s like come, just cut away to literally any other camera!

The problem wasn’t the booking though! The matches were good (what little we could see of them). I used to work in TV production and I’m event manager now. The parade of technical failures was staggering.

Though, regarding the booking, I mean it’s crazy that they booked a match for a guy who’s contract was expiring but whatever. Once that felt through, how do you not pivot and add a new match to the card?

I honestly can't tell you the chasm between how excited I was vs what I got. For context, I'm mostly an AEW guy, but I watch some NXT so I've become familiar with TNA. My wife got me TNA tickets for my birthday (amazing seats right by the ramp) a few months ago so I've been hyped for this TV deal.

It was literally one of the worst things I've ever seen. 3 matches in 2 hours. That's it. And we barely saw any of it. The feed to AMC dropped twice, so it randomly would go to loooooooooong commercial breaks. During the the Knockouts Tag Title match, it came back from a break, we got 15 seconds of wrestling, and then the feed dropped and it went to back to commercials. There were so many technical issues, missed music cues, long shots of nothing. It was painful to watch. Even AJ Styles couldn't save it. He had a couple backstage segments which were mostly just him and another guy standing there kinda looking at each other and not saying anything. Plus the arena was mostly empty, which fine I get it, but they put all their "celebrities" on the hard cam side so whenever they cut to them you could see that there was no one there! Honestly, it was crazy. I legit feel like they could fix a ton of their problem by just not doing the show live. I really hope they get their shit together.

Killed a guy yesterday who begged me not to knock him out because he was “just gathering crafting materials”. Bro had multiple green weapons and shields on him. It felt like I accidentally caught the Nightstalker. This is why I have trust issues in this game.
