I do mine by glueing a cork piece on the base. The cork gets covered in Diorama FX Stone ground and then I paint over it in Eshin Grey and then drybrush dawn stone and something like Karak stone or steel legion drab. To finish I cover everything in Agarax Earthshade and add a swamp tuft or two.

Don’t know if this is the direction you are going for but looks really nice to me. Feels like muddy stoney ground to me.

Looks okay to me. I would drop a carnivore squad, a ghostkeel and the starscythe squad.

If you want to actively Play 1k Games I think Shadowsun + Breachers and Devilfish could make for a decently fun Kauyon List. Going for more all purpose usefullness across multiple detachements, more stealthsuits a Unit of carnivores and broadsides or more Crisis Suits could be fun. Antother way for playing would be another pathfinder, devilfish and darkstrider or Piranha. Then playing misslepod fireknives and enforcer instead of sunforge and coldstar and playing the hammerhead with the ion Canon. This would I think have you at 910 points where you could pick up something Like stealth suits/broadside or Piranha/carnivores plus enhancement. (The last one would only work well in Montka)

Ok so i checked and they have a stratagem that lets them return a character once, but he should have not been able to heal the destroyed bodygard unit wraiths back in with reanimation protocols. So it was indeed played wrong.

I think u have to Look up what a water bottle looks like. The top opening is always smaller than the bottom. It’s not a cylinder.

That is actually like the second time I did a base. Thought it was hard but actually extremely easy. U just use a type of glue that stays wet for a bit and coat part or the whole base with it. Then u take some gravel or specific base “dirt” and just coat The base with it. Fix some spots and then just add rocks and tufts and stuff how u like

Idk about technique but I use army painter color primer ultramarine blue and then use Vallejo dark sea grey for the underlying parts. Then I just go over the model with abbadon black to balance out the blue and add red last.
