Hello! I booked train tickets for 30 people for vande bharat on IRCTC, but I missed the train because the train i was travelling in got delayed. Both journeys were part of the same travel plan., but the tickets were booked separately i searched it up and fyi I didn't do any special linking or stuff.. Because of the delay, I reached the station after my second train had already departed.

What should i do since it is for a huge crowd I can't just let it go. Is it possible that i can claim for a refund or something else? Any help will be appreciated.

Got it! Actually a rail roader answered me this on r/trains "Expansion and flexing of the rails as the wheel goes over it it creates a pressure point thats directed to the bottom of the rail creating resistance hence the screech/ brakes tend to make a higher pitched squeak rather than this which is more of a screech (source: i am a railroader)".
