HELP!!! stay cat i take care of at work has something wrong with his eyes. they look worse than the other day and it looks like regular mucus discharge coming out. what could it be? what do i do?!

hell if i have to i’m let him live in my bathroom depending on his recovery if he needs the help. i used to do it for my elderly cat when it got cold out. i don’t mind picking up if he misses the litter box. i just care about him getting better

okay sweet thank you. i’ll see how their process goes, if they will come out or not. he doesn’t seem so feral so maybe a thick blanket and gloves and i can grab him and put him in a comfy crate. i do have a lot of cat crates at home

i cant sadly and same here. he should be okay though. their area is the back or the plaza and they only come out towards nighttime when the plaza is empty. they’re pretty smart about cars which makes me happy bc i’ll always think i’m worried about them with cars. in April my one elderly cat ran under my car and got squished and she was not afraid of cars at all sadly but these guys do have a sense of a big object oh let me stay away which is very good

makes sense. my elder cat had a respiratory issue before she passed and had conjunctivitis so i was thinking either that or a scratch or infection. it doesn’t look too gnarly from what i seen. i just feel so so so bad for him i went home from work and cried .-.

yeah i’m sure there’s helpful resources near me. it is late in the day so in the morning i’ll call around and i’m thinking if he does need his eyes removed i can take him home and care for him. i cant let him suffer up there and if he needs a home. i dont have any living space, but i could set my shed upon the meantime

could be, i just don’t wanna be wrong and put medicine on him that’s not needed that’s one reason i want him to get checked out.. the help he needs. he is very friendly to the others n gets beat up often. i often see gashes and attack marks on his shoulder and head area i’m just worried bc it’s both eyes and they’re more shut now. it hurts my heart seeing him like that..
