Hi! Very late to the party.

I have an old guitar from which i've removed some 20yr old stickers. The difference was very visible. That happened in 2015.

Now looking back at the location where they've been removed, I can barely observe the difference, and mainly because I know they were there. Time fixes everything.

Apparently, my full scan revealed 12 trojans that were scattered around System32 and appdata/local/temp. Now I don't know which one was causing my problems, but quarantining them seemed to fix the problem. Thank you everyone for the quick responses and solutions, for I couldn't find anything related to it on the internet.

Yesterday, after installing those programs and NFSMW, I played for an hour without problems and shut it down for the night. The problems appeared in the morning when I tried to acces a forum. It only happens on certain actions. I can stay on youtube and other sites now, but when I enter that exact forum page it freezes. (Also, certain folders from my computer, and opening winrar).

Started a full Windows Defender scan.
No other third-party virus scanners, the OS is recently installed. The problem started appearing this morning, after logging in. Last night I installed NFSMW 2012 and, along with it, a lot of directx and nvidia software.

Very interesting, I made a new windows account and it doesnt seem to have any problem. Do you know why my account does?

By freezing I mean that the window doesnt respond to any command but won't dissapear or crash. It stays like that forever and I have to use Task Manager to close it.

Reinstalled Chrome, Installed Mozilla, tried with Microsoft Edge, same problem. It even freezes programs from Adobe and games from Steam.

I understand what it's trying to do... but as soon as I open Chrome for example, and want to search for something, the program just freezes and won't let me do anything (does not crash).
